Happy Holidays!
It's been a while since I have last posted! Sorry bout that! lol I've been super busy!
I just opened a new shop on Etsy! It's a Men's/Unisex Metal Jewelry Shop called THE WAREHOUSE JEWELER and you can find me at http://www.thewarehousejeweler.etsy.com
Other than that I've been making trips downtown...to buy supplies. Keep an eye out for a brand new jewelry line entitled SPRING SHIMMER with a bunch of new shimmery pieces... due out in March or 2011.
I will try to stop back soon! However, I hope you and yours had a great Thanksgiving (if you celebrate), and that everyone stays healthy and happy this coming year!

Around the Jewelry District LA, CA!
This week has been a busy one! I have been in San Francisco for the past 2 weeks, and have fallen a lil behind in my jewelry making.
This Monday, I will be headed down to the Jewelry District in Downtown Los Angeles to buy some jewelry making supplies. I have 5 custom orders, and a multi-strand pearl necklace to make for a News Anchor woman. :-)
I will take some pics of the Jewelry District and post them on here asap!
Have a great weekend all!

Feeling Drained
Morning All!
So, I'm learning that there is one thing about owning your own business that is very tiring. Learning to PUT THE JEWERLY DOWN and do SOMETHING OTHER than work on my business is becoming a difficult task.
The other day, it was about 87 degrees outside, and I made the decision to put the jewelry down, and head over to the beach to enjoy the great weather.
I finally get over to Santa Monica. The weather was GORGEOUS and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful day there.
I was kind of excited. I managed to leave my house (a.k.a My Studio) and get over to the beach during the daytime hours. I was actually impressed with myself. I had realized that sometimes we need that time away from our work to rejuvenate, get back to work refreshed, and full of fresh ideas.
On the way over to the water, to take pictures of the sunset, things started to change. The challenge for me was to stay away from jewelry and jewelry-making for just that day. To get away from it all. That was going well until I saw a HUGE bead store outta the corner of my eye.
Hmmm... sunset? Bead Store? Sunset? Bead Store? Sunset? (I really went back and forth like that) BEAD STORE IT IS!
Although staying away was the plan...things happen for a reason. Turns out I found some fabulous finds, and met the owner whom I love! Also, they offer a class that I'm able to attend on wed's!
So, I almost succeeded in PUTTING THE JEWELRY DOWN...although it is obvious that it is hard to get away from it all.

"The most successful men in the end are those whose success is the result of steady accretion. . . It is the man who carefully advances step by step, with his mind becoming wider and wider — and progressively better able to grasp any theme or situation — persevering in what he knows to be practical, and concentrating his thought upon it, who is bound to succeed in the greatest degree."Alexander Graham Bell
Although I would have to disagree on the "MEN" part in the beginning! LOL
